how do you know when a vertical lambo door kit is universal?
I have a vertical lambo door kit that came off a acura integra 99, it is a bolt on kit and i was wondering if anyone knows the answer or has had previous experience. I want to put it on a vw jeta 04

I don't know "scissor door hinges" well enough to give an accurate answer, but all my other experience tells me this. When ANY product is labeled as "universal", that usually means that it fits nothing unless you modify it.
However, the last time I looked in any car magazines that featured that kind of build, all the scissor door hinge kits in the adds were made for exclusive body styles for particular cars. I don't think that the ones off the Accura will fit the VW.
