lambo doors. i bought a car with the kit already on and have no way of finding the brand name. i think it is just a universal kit but im not totally sure. i will need 800-900 lb shocks also. the struts on it right now (inoperable) are about 7 3/4 inch (extended) and about 4 compressed. they also have a ball and socket end and a 90 degree angle end. i am including a link to pics to better clarify what i mean. also i need to know how to get the old struts off. any answers help. thank you

There should be ball socket on one end of the strut that can be popped off the stud. The other end should be held on by a bolt or screw. Once you get the strut off take it down to your local auto parts store and see if they can match it up to their stock. Make sure you support the door when taking off the old strut or you will get whacked on the head.

I have gotten a lambo door kit off ebay! It is two years old but never used. They take two gas shocks per. side(trunk like). The kit is in great condition, but the shocks i can't get to move with my muscles or sitting on them at that(I also tried wd40 to loob them up). They are rated 200lbs per.! Is it that I don't have enough ass or is there a easy way to losten them up??
