Lambo Door Struts How To Install my AutoLoc Lambo Doors On my 03 Cavalier? Help Please?
HI EVERYONE. OKAY I HAVE LAMBO DOORS ON MY CAVALIER. THEY ARE AUTOLOC WE ALREADY WELDED THE LAMBO KIT ONTO THE FENDER. ITS ON RALLY GOOD. THE HARD PART IS THE GAS STRUTS. THEY GIVE US 2 FOR EACH DOOR BUT WHEN YOU PUT 2 IT TOO HARD TO PULL DOWN BUT WITH ONE ITS A LITTLE HARD TO OPEN. WHAT SHOULD I DO. AND THEY ARE THE GOOD GAS STRUTS. 200LBS EACH. PLEASE HELP! THANX
I have done some mods in the past with these little gas struts and they can be an absolute pain in the ....
Not knowing exactly what you are doing without a visual, is there anyway you can change the angles of the struts?
Dont know if they have to be located in exact positions or not but you could try tack welding the brackets at different angles and see if that works. I had to do the same with a rear opening door I manufactured for a trailer.
