How to make a Nissan Sentra 1996 look good?
I received a 1996 Nissa Sentra from a relative for free (but i have to pay any costs for repairs and stuff). it has 138000 miles on it. Its Burgundy aka the ugly purplish color (google burgndy nissan sentra 1996) and Im a bit self conscious of the color and look but i despise the color. Even though it was free I still am not too fond looking at it. I dont know whether to get a paint job or a body kit + paint job or tinting done on it. Im willing to spend around $1,400 to make it look better. Anyone have ideas on what to get done to it and where? Trying not to get a new car just because of its appearance.
Save the money for something else. If the body is straight wash the car, then use a good paint cleaner, then use a clay bar, then use a scratch remover, then wax it. Clean the inside with upholstery cleaner on the seat and floor. Use window cleaner inside and out. Vacuum inside and trunk. That dark color will shine so much people will notice the shine and not the color! All for $50-$60. It's already 15 years old. Save your money for something else. Use the car to get places.
